Alex graduated from Western Sydney university with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry) in 2007. Since graduating she has practiced in the Southern Highlands and outer Sydney areas and was awarded the WSU and Australian Podiatry Association (NSW/ACT) 2008 Award for Clinical Excellence.

Alex is the Coordinator of Podiatry Clinic Services at the Matthew Talbot Hostel for homeless men in Woolloomooloo; a position she has held since 2011. She is also a current member of The Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and Sports Medicine Australia.

She was a Director on the Board of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW/ACT) for 9 years prior to their merger with the National Board in 2023.

When she’s not treating feet, Alex enjoys spending time with her family with the addition of a little running, swimming and cycling on the side. Having competed in two Ironman events, multiple marathons and half marathons Alex has a passion for keeping fit and healthy.

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our team at SoHi Podiatry, Max, our expert Podiatrist!

Having recently relocated to the Southern Highlands, Max will officially join us in July 2026, bringing with him a comprehensive background in all facets of Podiatry.

His expertise will be available to you five days a week, with convenient evening appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, as well as early morning slots on Thursdays and Fridays.

We are delighted to welcome Max to our clinic and are eager for you to meet him and benefit from his exceptional care.

Lucy joined SoHi Podiatry in 2021.

Lucy graduated from The Strand College of Beauty Therapy in 2004 and worked in the Beauty Industry for 6 years before completing an Arts degree, majoring in History from the University of NSW. Lucy grew up in the Southern Highlands, before moving to Sydney, to pursue tertiary studies. She moved back to the Highlands in 2014 with her husband and 2 children.

Lucy is available for SoHi Podiatry’s ‘Signature Podi-Pedi’ on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Leanne joined SoHi Podiatry in 2023.

Leanne was born and raised in the Southern Highlands.

She is passionate about her community and is heavily involved in “a little bit of everything” including, and not limited to; Little Athletics, multiple soccer clubs plus Bundanoon Cricket and Swim Clubs.

With 3 children her family is always on-the-go.

Leanne is at The Cottage Monday through to Thursday.

Karyn comes with extensive multidisciplinary experience in education, engineering and customer service. She loves a chat about fine dining and travelling!

Karyn is at The Cottage on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening and every Friday.
